Bug Buffet

Bug Buffet is a tiny game made in 3-4 hours for my 22 Games in 22 Days challenge. You're a hungry caterpillar trying to survive on the dirt (or a picnic table secret background!). Eat leaves, avoid purple rocks while staying alive as long as you can.

How to play:

- Drag your mouse to move the caterpillar around.
- Try the number keys to swap backgrounds (programmer art).
- Space to play next level.

Gameplay:

You have limited time for each difficulty to move around and eat grass. Eating grass gives you 10 points. You can also find blue grass which gives you 50 points and a one hit shield. You must avoid touching the pink rocks and the flies that chase you. You only eat with your mouth (head). As difficulty increases, enemies go faster, you need to survive longer and more stuff spawns. Blue grass only has a chance to spawn after difficulty 8 and flies spawn after difficulty 4.
